In 1916, Louis Brandeis was the first Jewish person to join the Supreme Court, and after a hearing process, he was accepted later that year. He showed Jews that they can do anything anyone else can and raised their hopes for better jobs.
Omri Moshe Casspi was born June 22, 1988, and is an Israeli professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m) tall, and plays at the small forward position. With his debut with the Kings in 2009, Casspi became the first Israeli to play in an NBA game. The Cleveland Cavaliers traded him on June 2011 and he signed with the Houston Rockets on July 2013. He helped show Jews that they could accomplish anything if they tried.
Abraham, originally Abram, is one of the first of the three Patriarchs of Israel whose story is told in chapters 11–25 of the Book of Genesis. Abraham was called by God to leave his father's, Terah, house and land of Mesopotamia for a new land, family, and inheritance in Canaan, aka the promised land. He helped set an example of what God wants you to do and what he does not want you to do.
Daryl Christopher Sabara was born June 14, 1992. He is an American actor, voice artist, comedian, and former child actor. He is perhaps best known for playing Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids film series, as well as for a variety of television and film appearances, including Generator Rex, Wizards of Waverly Place, Father of the Pride, The Polar Express, Keeping Up with the Steins, Halloween, and the reality show America's Most Talented Kids, on which he was a judge. He helped Jews believe that they could be stars too.
Ryan Joseph Braun was born November 17, 1983, is an American baseball left fielder and third baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Braun is considered a five-tool player for his ability to hit for power and average, his base running speed, and his excellent fielding and
arm strength. He was ranked number seven by the Sporting News in its 2012 list of the 50 greatest current players in baseball, and won the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2011. He showed Jews that they could also be one of the best.
